This guy, I found out, was repairing his family TV when he was a teen. He has an amazing ability to figure out what's wrong with electric equipment and fix it. I think that's why he is the go-to guy for the Beach Boys when it comes to repairing and enhancing their instruments and amps. He repaired an old fashioned, really cool, tape deck for me and now it works flawlessly.
