Company Description

Dr. Kandel is a California native and long standing community leader. Dr. Kandel earned a bachelor's degree in cultural anthropology from UCSB, and completed his master’s degree and doctoral dissertation in Traditional Chinese Medicine after studies in the US and China. Dr. Kandel is currently a State Licensed Acupuncturist in private practive for 25 and owner of Acupucture Center of Santa Maria.
He is a current board member of the Dana Adobe Nipomo Amigos, current President of the Land Conservancy of San Luis Obispo County. He was the 2009 recipient of San Luis Obispo Foundation’s Environmental Achievement of the Year Award. Herb is passionate about health and history and land stewardship and he treasures his life with his wife Donna and daughters, Anya and Zosha.
