Since its inception in 1945, BEGA has consistently produced the highest quality luminaires available. From our humble beginnings, when the first wrought-iron chandelier was created, to today’s in-house production of LEDs, control technology, and luminaires created and equipped to take us into the future, our dedication has remained steadfast. We have, and always will be, committed to the highest quality. This is true for our products, our work environment, our family of employees, and our focus on growth. In 1985, a joint venture partnership was formed with the managing directors of BEGA in Menden, Germany, so the entire BEGA portfolio could be brought to the U.S. This partnership was the origin of BEGA North America, a U.S. corporation. We are now a multimillion dollar corporation servicing all of North and Central America from our state-of-the-art manufacturing and corporate facility just south of Santa Barbara in Carpinteria, CA. We proudly employ over 145 people in this setting.
